Meet the ‘Asdzaa’ Bloggers

Ya’at’teeh (hello) my name is Sasha Lewis and a proud, strong Navajo woman, mother and Air Force Veteran. I was born and raised on the Navajo Reservation where I grew up waking early before the sunrise to pray, run dirt trails, herd sheep, feed the horses, chop wood, haul water, help mom with chores and listen to my dad sing traditional songs.  I know everyone has a story, where they have been and where they are going.  Being raised on the Navajo reservation was a beautiful blessing and the values my parents instilled in my early years of life resonates in why I proudly refer myself as a warrior. In 2013, I completed my certificate in Whole Health and Wellness; to this day the education provided has driven me to share what my take-away is about Whole Health while inspiring others to achieve being whole.

Ya’at’teeh, my name is Jennifer Morgan, I was born and raised on the Navajo Reservation. I am also a mother and a USAF veteran. I am a current student studying Massage Therapy at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies. I am interested in sharing my thoughts and stories as I’m learning more about whole health and everything connected. Please tag along with us in our journey to better understanding the meaning of, “WHOLE HEALTH.”
